Our Story
Made in South Africa, for the smallest tails.
Tippy Tails started with a very specific dog: Chappy, a pavement special (part Jack Russell, part cattle dog) whose grandmother-knitted jerseys were the only thing that ever really fit him. Off-the-rack dog jackets are cut for medium builds: too boxy for a Greyhound, too loose on a Dachshund, too fussy for a scruffy terrier who just wants to run.
So we started making our own, patterned around real small dogs, cut from fabric we'd wear ourselves, and finished by hand in small runs.
Every jacket is designed to last more than a season, and to capture the same thing Chappy did without trying: the joy a well-dressed dog creates in total strangers.
